Christmas at Liseberg

Liseberg is Sweden's biggest amusement park and it lies only a couple of hundred metres from where we live - we can actually see half of it from our kitchen. It is usually only open in the summer, but for maybe five-ten years they've been open for a little over a month before christmas. Most of the rides aren't running, but there are winter- and christmas themed attractions instead and a christmas market with crafts and food. This year they had Santa's wokshop, a piece of the Swedish part of Sápmi with reindeers, food and different types of crafts etc and the medieval king's camp. But most of all it's about all the glittering lights and teh fact that it has snowed and the temperature has been around -8 C/19F for a week only adds to the magic.
My photos are blurry, since my camera really doesn't work well in the dark, but you get an impression of it.

Maja and Rickard and parts of the medieval camp.

It soon got dark

The ice skating rink:

Eva, the red-nosed historian.

The king in his camp.

The king's men and the king.

Oskar repairs his armour.
