The new hair
Feb. 22nd, 2014 01:47 pmEven if I'm still suffering from the cold which has knocked me out for almost a week I desperately made a call to the nearest hairdresser today - I just couldn't take it anymore. Armed with photos of hairstyles from the '30s- and '40s I went there, but I could have saved me that trouble - he didn't look at them, but apparently I'm good at describingwhat I want or something. This is how it looks after a few minutes with a curling iron, but since it needs to be washed I'm going to do that now and curl it when wet, either on rollers or pin curls.

This is the shortest my hair has been since my friend Hjalmar (who is now a dj/electronic music producer and lives in Californa, you can hear him here) cut it half an inch long all over the head one sunny day we spent in Freetown Christiania in 1993. Now it's probably not shorter than three inches anywhere.
