Ysterday I went to a small sewing fair here in Gothenburg with my sister and Maja (not by choice in her case) and this is the big score:

The gold trim at the top is 6 cm wide and there's 12 metres of it. And it only cost 10 SEK ( 1, 5 $/ a little less than a pound) per metre. The lace is white and pink, though that is a bit hard to see in the photo. That one and teh gold and white trim were both  5 SEK/metre and tha salmon pink rayon ribbon, typical for underwear once upon a time, cost 2 SEK/metre.

I was looking for something to line my late 15th century German dress with, but found nothing, since  80% of the fabric was printed jersey. So I didn't find anything suitable for my 1910s suit either. So I'll have to keep looking.
