Going Greek

Or possibly Roman. The very thin cotton in my chiton may on the other hand suggest that I come from one of the Hellenistic towns in the Eastern Mediterranean.
But really, I just found this lovely fabric and since I've wanted to have a try at Graeco-Roman dress for a while I used it to make my first attempt at a chiton. It would have been cool with pillars in the background, but as usual it's my balcony.



And yes, I'm, wearing a bra, I havent made a strophium yet.

Oooh, that's kinda pretty. I love the color even though I always think "white" when I think Greek/Roman.
