Door handles and duvets

Yesterday I was in too much pain to think well and since thinking is a central part of my job I first did some administrative stuff and then sat down and made sheets and duvets for the dolls house. I will have to make up for that during the weekend.


Just like taps door handles are only available in brass colour, so I had to paint them.

Both the sheets and the duvets are hand sewn. The sheets are made from thin cotton and decorated with drawn thread work and the duvets are made from habotai silk.

Sorry you weren't feeling well, but wow, those duvet covers and sheets look great. :-) The drawn thread work, even though it's a small amount compared to human-sized clothing, really gets noticed at this scale.

Thank you. I am aiming for Swedish style c. 1940 - not the mostmodern stuff, but how people's homes really looked and I am pleased this far.
