Health not being good
Feb. 26th, 2016 11:49 pmThsi winter has included a long flre in my arthritis. (But no flu, because for the first time I got the shot, so I only got two weks of cold and fever and flu-like symptoms, instead of six weeks being knocked out). But my arrhritis has been NO Fun At All. My ribcage has been so painful that I've felt like I've been trapped in a prison of pain inside my body and I just want to claw and scratch to get out of there. Now it's better again, but now my feet start being evil to me.
Last weekend I had enough pain to use a crutch, but it got well enough to do without it after two days. But then today it started aching really badly while I was at a children's hospital visting friends. I almost couldn't make it back. I was going to go home and then Rickard and I was going to go and see "The Force Awakens", which I hadn't seen and he didn't mind watching a second time, but I realized that if I went home I would never go out again. So I managed to get to the cinema and then sat there with a cup of tea for one and a half hour before Rickard came with one of my crutches. During the movie I kept my foot high (it was a very empty theatre) and somehow I managed to get home - we were lucky with the trams and buses too, no long waits.
When I got home I took two tramadols and fell asleep while reading about early textile prints in Sweden. I woke up 2,5 hours later, about when Rickard was goign to bed, and my foot still hurts a lot, despite the drugs.
I am not happy about this. Tomorrow I am not going anywhere.
