So very, very nervous

I am so very, very nervous for the investiture. Rationally I know that a) very few things can go really wrong and b) in the greater perspective this is Not Important. But I still want it all to go perfectly as planned. And, despite my rational knowledge that it isn't for real, and isn't really important it feels important. And I know that I will get very emotional during parts of the ceremony, I get all emotional just reading the texts.

But on Saturday evenign it will be over and I can start getting nervous over other stuff. Or spend Sunday editing photos and blogging about it.

It is important! I hope the weekend turns out to be exactly what you want it to be, and that, despite the excitement, press, and confusion that is inevitable at such an event, you are left with many joyous memories to keep always. I would so have loved to have been there, but I booked this conference long before I heard your good news, so I will have to content myself with sending good wishes from Italy.

I don't know yet. I *want* to go to DW, Cudgel War, and Medieval week, but I have no idea how many my budget can handle. If I can only do one of them, I am voting for Cudgel as I found out that it is actually much easier (FAR shorter drive) to get to from Luleå than the others, and I have never been yet.
