Photos taken after our Beltane celebration

This is not ritual robes, but a dress that I use on Beltane or at other times when I feel close to the May Queen. Cotton broadcloth and textile paint :)  At some of the photos you can make out wood anemones att my feet. This was in a clearing surrended by oaks, and the fallen oak leaves were to thick for many anemones to grow, but in the woods on the way to our clearing the ground was covered with them everywhere - it was so beautiful that you just wanted to run into them and lie down. It was rather too wet for that though.

It was, though it rained a little in the beginning and never got warm after that. But the next day it was sunny and warm, and Monday too, so we feel that we've done our job ;)
