Right now I hate my body

 It seems like the tramadol doesn't want to work today (nor the paracemtamol). It's probably due both to working out and to a weathwr change from coldand dry to wet and miserable. And I spent more time outdoors in that miserable weather, getting to work, then to another part of the university to lecture, and then home again.

We have a warm flat, I came home four hours ago, I wear velvet leggings, wool knee socks and a knitted wool hoodie (the one in my avatar), and I've drink several cups of hot tea - and I still feel very cold. And it hurts everywhere.

I don't much look forward to going to bed, because it is harder to stand the pain when you're not distracted by something. Like binge watching season 11 of Bones :)

Tomorrow I teach 19th century fashion and tehn we have the barony's sewign meetign at my place. I hop that I feel better then. I also got a slip about a parcel, which I hope is the dolls that clothsprogs sent me. On the other hand I have ordered so much stuff now before christmas so it could be anything. I will let you know.

My mum and her boyfriend, my sis, brother-in-law and their kids are coming over on Saturday to celebrate my birthday (which is on Tuesday), but I hope to also be able to hunt som pokemon, and raid with Rickard, and to take photos me wearing the new regency gown.

I actually gave up and invested in one of those soft electric heating blankets last year. I use it *a lot*, especially at this time of year when I get cold and can't warm up on my own. Cuddling up with a book under that blanket helps a lot. I know it's not great to use unnecessary electric appliances, but... I love that blanket.

I don't know if you can consume alcohol with all the other medications you're taking, but sometimes a shot of alcohol added to hot tea can help you warm up. I hate getting so chilled I have problems warming up again - and yes, it does make me hurt worse too. :(
