I have just been a very bad dreamwidth-writer. But as everybody is freaking out about the Corona-virus I thought that I should write something for those of my friends who are not on facebook (or instagram, I post there too now, same name)

My exhaustion is not well, but I can do more things. Writing blog posts is too much most of the time though. I can't draft patterns either, but luckily I have stuff that I can make without so much thinking. And with the exhaustion I don't get as restless when I don't make things as I usually do.

I have a very normal cold and possibly an arthritis flare on the way.

Last weekend I went to an SCA event and I wore my 15 years old green silk bliaut. Photos here.

Now I am practising some degree of self isolation, because when you're on humira your immunssystem is intentionally lowered. So I am actually happy that the Jesus and Mary Chain cancelled their tour, because that took the decision of whether to go or not from me.

I am mostly watching old episodes of "Bones" and have started on a fantasy costume  that I intend to wear to the local Burlesque club's party with the theme "Spring awakening" which is on April 25th. It may not take place, but then there will be other parties. It's basically my green Venetian, but with a green chemise with flowers and leaves on. I will also attach fabric flowers and greenery to the gown by hand later. Right now it's the chemise that I am working on.

Thanks for checking in here! While I sometimes see what you post on FB (depending on luck of the draw on what happens to be in my feed when I happen to look), I will always see what is posted here (since they stay in the same order, no matter what).

That dress is stunning. Hopefully you know that without needing others to say so :-) (though it is probably nice to hear it, too.)

I'm glad you're (more or less) okay! I've stayed at home for a week due to a *very* light cold with a dry cough, but it's basically over now. I think I will be cleared for shopping and stuff by Saturday. (I had to go to the chemists yesterday, but I have plenty of disinfectant hand wipes and I found an old packet of face masks in my cupboard, so I went in there all dolled up and felt very silly.)

Thanks for updating here. I tried checking Facebook again after my four-month hiatus just to see how poeple were, but quickly backed out again.
