From thought to action

I've cut out the linen fabric for my kirtle tonight. No pictures, but some info on period ways to line clothes can be found in the diary.
And my cold is back. I feel like I have a temperature and it's itching like hell in my throat. Oh well, at least I felt almost well for an entire week.
My husband is away at the opening of the gaming room at the new "Games Workshop" store. He took his orcs and disappeared at six and I don't count on him being home before ten. I miss him, but I like that he has hobbies too.

Nope, french seams and flat felled seams as she describes them is somehting you do with a single layer of fabric. This i show you work with several layers of fabric. I'm goint to ask a friend if I can use her scanner this weekend and see if I find a good picture.
