A new 13th century tunic

I have just started on a new 13th century dress. I used the pattern of the gown of St. Clare of Assisi. Apart from the dress only reaching the floor unbelted and the sleeves being a little too narrow over the lower arms and too short, I was a little short on fabric, it is very promising. the sleeves get just the right look and I will definitely use this pattern for my next late 13th-early 14th century dress too, but will use more fabric. The fabric I'm using now is a sort of wool crepe that I fulled in the washing machine. It's pine green and very pretty and absolutely lovely to sew in. I started it on saturday (hand sewing) and it will hopefully be finished in a week or so. I'm planning to sew some on my inner tent for the pavilion so I won't be able to spend so much time on it. But I don't need it before the beginning of August anyway.
And the solstice celebration was good. And very warm and sunny.
