A midsummer girl

frualeydisMaja in a sort of popular costume from the 19th century. The dress is her old renaissance kirtle, but the apron and cap are new. We went to traditional midsummer celebrations at Nääs, which is a 19th century (I think) castle and a teacher's seminar from the early 20th century. It was wonderful and I talked to a lot of other folk costume enthusiasts. And Maja walked really good If we held her in one hand.
