I don't think I can work right now

I just feel like crying and I know it won't be better until we hear from myladyswardrobe and edmndclotworthy. I'm thankful I have few friends in London and that three of them already are accounted for.
I've tried writing on my chapter on materials in medieval scandinavian dress, but I keep checking LJ all the time to see if there's some news. If they are at Kentwell they won't be having their cell phones on, right? otherwise I could call from here, since the cell phones in London aren't working now due to overload. I don't have Bess' number of course, but I assume I could get it from guyelfkin.

Tried Bess's number straight off but no joy tyhe network is too busy. If she's at Kentwell it would be switched off anyway and she might well be oblivious to what's happened... Though I assume soemone in the office would have a radio on or check the web news and let peopel know as and when.

Yes I thought it would be switched off if they were at Kentwell, so it's no use trying to avoid the cell phone problems in London by calling from Sweden.
I don't want the world to be like this.

I'm assumingthey're at kentwell and oblivious to it all, simply because the alternatives aren't something I want to acknowledge unless I have to.

That's how I feel too.
Fittingly the thunder just struck here and I really feel bad. Managed to write two paragraphes though.
Take care and remember to eat and drink, it's easy to forget while worrying.

Oh, and if they are "just" hurt or chocked they may still be at a hospital and have no way of updating their livejournals and with the cell phone problem no other way to let people know.
