I deleted the previous entry on some fabric I found on ebay, since I noticed that a friend is the current high bidder. I wouldn't want to create more competition for him.
And he would look really good in cranberry.

Date: 2005-07-12 07:03 am (UTC)Line big garments (a full-length-full circle houpellande with biiiig sleeves on someone my height, for example, would take at least 15 metres of silk of that width, possibly more).
Some of it would be for Eva as I wouldn't have seen it if it weren't for her
Some of it I could sell on (if I ever got around to it)
As Eva suggests, there's hangings for the medieval tent/pavillion.
And some of it I could make the outer-layers of costumes from.

Date: 2005-07-13 02:57 am (UTC)If you'r eoutbid and don't want to bid more my friend Anna migth be interested,a t least she sounded tempted yesterday. It would have to be sent to you then of course, since they don't ship outside the UK. I wonder how much 94 metres of dupioni weighs.
But I really hope you get it, it would be such a fun bargain to have made.
