I can't find any inspiration to work today. I still find the subject and the results fascinating, but writing about it, Ugh!
I will force myself to write the section about differences between Sweden and Norway in which materials were used for clothing, or at least differences between which materials are mentioned in the sources, but that's about it. Then I will start thinking about my lecture for the Visby Medieval week. It's about clothes, gender and beauty ideals.

Thanks. You probably think I'm very daft now, but I looked at your website last night because I figured you ought to have some good links- and couldn't find any. But it was pretty late and I was somewhat pre-occupied at the time.

I'm not sure at all what I want- the reason I'm looking around is because I need something that doesn't mind me getting thinner. I have to lose weight for medical reasons and I don't want to start something now that may be too large too soon. :-)

Early 14th century. I have lost almost 10 kilos and I can wear it still. On the other hand you may not like the A-line look.

Well, I personally think that I look better in something with a defined waist, as whatever weight I have I always look like an X. But of course, form-fitting clothes make changes in weight very obvious. I don't mind the A-line look of that period though, and for the moment it's probably the best one for me.

And then there is that dream of mine to have a dress from as many periods as possible...
