My England trip- travel details

Anna, Maja and I will arrive at Stansted at 11.10 on wednesday the 24th of August and leave at 18.00 on Monday the 29th. We plan to stay wednesday and thursday at guyelfkin's and then take the train and visit myladyswardrobe on friday.

I'm a bit tired after my extensive travelling in August, but by tomorrow I will be properly excited I'm sure. And I look forward to seeing you again. Really.

Excellent!!! We will look forward to seeing you. When do you go BACK home (eg when do you need to go back to Stansted??).

We will do Kentwell on the Saturday so you and Sarah can visit it together and we can play gentry. peronel will be kitchening during the weekend but is thinking of popping over to visit in the evening so you can meet her too.

The plane leaves from Stansted at 6 pm, I have forgotten how long before one has to be there, but presumably 1 1/2 - 2 hours in advance.

Not sure what Edmund will be doing so I can't promise anything at the moment - E may be able to take you down to the airport from Glemsford (unless you are planning on being somewhere else on Monday?).

We can discuss it all when you come over.

If you're going by Ryanair (as I assume you are) you have to be checked in 40 minutes before departure.

I just remembered, I have no idea how to get to your place on friday, but I assume there are trains and maybe we could go at the same time as you?

You must be tired, you replied to your own post, not to Bess's comment.

Train from London Liverpool Street to Colchester or as far as Marks Tey then change onto the little local train to Sudbury (which is closer to Glemsford)

Meeting up with Bess after work at Liverpool Street and travelling with her would probably be easiest all 'round, I'd have thought.

Unfortunately, I don't now work in London on Fridays - I now work from home.

We will need to work out timings but as I suspect edmndclotworthy will also be at home that day, it will be easier for us to collect you at Sudbury.

What sort of time do you want to leave London (bearing in mind its approx a 2 hour journey from London to my home?)
