Two pictures from Visby

I'm still unpacking and the internet was down the whole evening yesterday so I haven't done any real work on the pictures from Visby medieval week. Here are two though:
Me, Rickard and haugtussa in front of my pavilion. You can also see my small, older pavilion next to it, the other white one.
Rickard and Maja walking in to camp after the war (that's why he's carrying camping stools). He's wearing his Maciejowski bible outfit that I made for Visby 2003 and a new hat that I found at a flea market for 4$ and which is absolutely right for the period.
And note Maja's cute little shoes that Rickard made for her.

I love the picture of Rickard and Maja. That is just too cute.

Does Rickard do much leather work? The shoes Maja is wearing look GREAT.

It's his second try. The first was his own shoes two years ago. Making turnshoes is actually rather easy. I can't do them because of my hands, but I made the pattern and the trial shoe based on a viking boot from Hedeby.
