Hooray for Uma

Uma (SCA shire in Umeå in the north of Sweden) have already put up pictures from the medieval week. They can be found here.

Here and here you can see me and Björn/Arnaud when were going to/were singing for the Prince and Princess of Nordmark. I wonder what on earth made me look like I do on the second picture. I had the sun in my eyes, but that's no excuse. At least you can see the new wool partlet.

If I haven't told you already, that is a really nice outfit. Less overloaded with frippery than the English 16th c. style.

I take my pictures with intent to post them online. I post them online with intent to share them with the SCA world (or others who would be interested in them, especially those actually -in- the pictures). It's not like I'm a professional photographer, nor does the site generate enough traffic to make it costly.

I need to figure out how to post a public service notice by my pictures... If anyone shown in my pictures tells me they would rather not be online I'll take the picture down at once of course. I would like to be told where my pictures end up though - for curiosity's sake.
