Dancing queen

For some obscure reason I felt like dancing ballet tonight while talking on the phone with my friend Sara, so I dance around making pliés, attitudes, pirouettes and arabesques while moving my arm (the one that wasn't holding the phone) gracefully, at last I hope it was gracefully. I haven't taken any lessons since 1984 and I'm not very agile anymore, but even though I can't make the movement so high or deep as I once could I can still make them in a controlled and hopefully beautiful way. Strange thing to do for someone with arthritis, but it didn't hurt worse than walking around and it was fun.

yes, ballet is the thing to dance :)

i just signed up for classes this autumn, 3 classes a week... can't wait until they begin!
