Tudor sleeve

I slept very little last night, I didn't fall asleep until around four and then Maja woke at 8.30 or something, she was awake at six too I think. The main reason was that Rickard was out with his work mates and I couldn't relax because I was waiting for him, but even after he came home at 2 I couldn't fall asleep. I just couldn't relax. I have slept very badly this week so I think I was over-tired or something.
So today has been a very slow day when nothing much has been done. I have worked on the tudor sleeves for Anna all day and one is finished and the other one just need the metal beads that are used for decoration. Anyway, here's a picture of the finished sleeve. it is redder and not so pink in colour as it is on my monitor at least. I think cherry red is a good description.
First I thought I was going to put in fake sleeve puffs from linen, but I think that will be up to her later to decide how she wants to do them. The original picture has scarletworked sleeves puffing out form the slits and I'm not going to make that :)
It feels a little odd that I'm doing tudor sleeves for Anna before making any tudor stuff for myself.

Some kind of silver-coloured metal beads, probably Indian, that I bought in a batik clothing/new age books/ethnic jewellery/various strange stuff-shop in Lund four years ago.

the red bits are part of the beads too, or did you assemble them somehow?

Since the hole runs through the silver bead I had to secure it somehow so it's a glass bead that that the thread runs through and then bak again through the "silver" bead.
