A new mouse. I have been struggling with the old mouse forever now. I cleaned it, I replaced the mouse mat but it was still very hard to get it to move the way I wanted it to. And with the problems I already have with my wrists I don't need that. So after waiting waay too long I asked our computer guy if I could have a new, and sure thing, he orders them in ten-packs. And I love it. It is so easy to move around on the screen, I had almost forgotten how it could be. Of course a mouse still isn't good for my wrists, but a working mouse is much better than one that almost never has proper contact.

If you can't get away with a trackball or other options, an optical mouse is the way to go! I love my Logitech MousMan Dual Optical. It could stand with being lighter, but it works perfectly. No ball that needs cleaning or adds traction.
