Good and bad things today

I found Moden 1840-90 by Viben Bech in an antiquariat. That book is very hard to find so I promptly bought it.
I also found one of my favourite books from my early teens Hitty: Her first Hundred Years by Rachel Field. I had forgotten the name of the book and only remembered the name Hitty, but by searching in library catalogues I found it. Then I looked at the antiquariat web site and found it.
Bad things:
My back hurts like hell.
I might not be able to finish the black dress before the event this weekend. I have four guards running from the neck opening to the floor to sew on and very little time to sew. If I'm lucky I might be able to attach the two guards at the front opening but not the two on the side-front and then I can wear it. Since Maja is coming with me I can't count on being able to sew at the event.
