I miss my lipstick

Not only did I forget my lovely brown velvet jacket in England but also my favourite pink lipstick that was in one of the pockets. And I miss it. People who have met me IRL may wonder why, since I never wear any make-up. Except sometimes when going out, which happens once every two years or so. But sometimes I feel like using make-up and now is one of those times and so I want my pale pink lipstick.

PS. I don't wear any make-up now and it is unlikely that that I would even if the pink lipstick had been accessible, it's an emotional thing mostly I think. When I can't have it I want it.

I don't want to work

and I'm going out to find a new lipstick and something to hang at the end of the girdle for the dress in my icon.

I updated the gardecorps diary yesterday, with pictures of the fabric. It won't show up the same on all monitors of course, but think Barbie/bubblegum pink.

Tonight "my" team is playing a very important game. Though it is unlikely they will win the league this year, the leading team can afford to loose one game and still win and we would have to win all our remaining games for that to happen. But coming second is important too, then you get to play the Uefa cup. So I'm really, really nervous. The reason I'm not there is that somebody has to be with all the kids.

Good things

1. Our team won the game, now we're only three points after the leader and with three matches left.

2. I just got a photo of my husband e-mailed to me by one of guyelfkin's friends, Paul. And it was such a nice thing to do and my husband is so handsome. Paul was at Visby medieval week and asked Rickard if he could take his photo and when Rickard told me about it, I was standing a couple of metres away, I suspected it was Paul, whom I've never met only had mail-contact with, but I wasn't sure. But guyelfkin confirmed it.
(Oh, and Paul, if you see this, I wasn't wearing the green bliaut then, but this not very exciting dress, so it's not strange you didn't see me.)

3. And most important: Maja, who got a temperature on saturday is now well again.
