If you still want your cool converse-like trainers or other casual clothing without supporting appalling working conditions, and in some countries even slave- and child labour.

An yes, I'm a hypocrite, because I'm probably not going to by anything from there. I don't buy shoes that cost so much unless it's those special shoes that are made especially for people with problems with their feet. And those are made in Germany and Finland, so they're also produced under good conditions. And made in Europe, which also is a point if you live here; less CO2 emissions.
But if I ever feel that I am willing to take the risk of buying shoes I don't know if I can walk in, it will definitely be from here.
Oh, and I got the link from [livejournal.com profile] swankantihero.

Has anyone seen anything even vaguely resembling the enameled ornaments on the tunicella that belongs to the coronation insignia of the Holy Roman Empire?
They don't have to be shaped like the original, round would be fine and the pattern doesn't have to be exact either, just of the same kind. It could be ornaments or buttons, as long as it's possible to sew them. Preferably an on-line shop of course.
Yes. I am finally going to start on the embroidery for Rickard's silk tunicella.

Books, jigsaw puzzles and a toy farm. That's Majas's new amusements. Some of the old favourties like playing with a ball, driving here doll pram, dancing, wearing shoes and hats and swings are still very popular.
