From Ulla Centergran who was on the committee that decided if my dissertation (and defence) was good enough to pass I got this nifty little thing:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

It's made from linen and consist of a cylindrical bag for fabric scraps, thread remnants etc, a hard lid (I have no idea what's inside the fabric, maybe cardboard) and a heavy pin cushion. The pin cushion is filled with bird's sand which sharpens the needles and pins.
The pin cushion is attached to the lid with velcro and it's weight makes it possible to hang the bag from a table.

I have used it the last days and I really like it.

Today is the day of the "kanelbulle" (cinnamon roll). Yes, there is probably a day for everything, every day of the year. So I made fifty cinnamon rolls before I went to Nylöse's meeting. I didn't bring all of them, only 15, but there were others who had been baking too.
While chatting and planning for the weekend's event I managed to eat three rolls (too many) and sew the bodice for the empire dress.
I am now extremely tired and will go to bed as soon as I have turned off the computer.
