A day well spent

I spent the day sorting out my overhead-sheets for my lecture tomorrow, checking that everybody who ordered books from me has paid (unless they don't have to yet), shopping and hanging out with my friend Caroline, who I see waay to seldom. Especially since she lives in town it is inexcusable that we only meet about twice a year.
The shopping was (of course) the missed button hole silk and having sewn while watching Hercule Poirot on the telly I now have only three eyelets left. I also bought a cute pair of flat shoes to wear at work. I had thought about getting these and these; or possibly these (it's a "buy three,pay for two" deal), but I'm a little short on money and didn't love any of them enough to buy them. It's not like I don't have shoes!
