Whining about work

I'm getting very grumpy now. First of all I'm not well at all. It hurts everywhere and I feel queasy and a little feverish. Secondly a colleague, who is responsible for this course was to pick up 65 compendiums (is that a word in english?, about 30 pages of photocopied articles) from repro, and hasn't. That means that I have to do it, and I'm really not fit for carrying such heavy stuff. And that brings on the third thing I'm grumpy about. The department has two or three little carts where you can put things so you don't have to carry them. All are mysteriously gone, probably used by other teachers who are healthy, have less to carry and a shorter distance to carry their stuff.
So, am I to call in sick from teaching, which I can do, just because I have arthritis and can't carry heavy stuff?

ETA:I found a cart of sorts and my work mate Henric was a darling (he always is) and fetched the missing compendia.
