Spring solstice preparations

It is totally impossible to get anything done today. I'm leaving for my coven's celebration around noon and the original plan was to work on the application until then. Instead I've done some stuff for the medieval group Nordrike, sorted some of yesterday's laundry, cut out Rickard's toile sleeves, packed my stuff and cleaned and re-decorated my altar as well as cleaned the shelves with herbs, books and other wicca-related stuff. And all this have left my so sweaty this warm and sunny day that I will need to take a shower before I leave. Spring cleaning is good, but I need to get other stuff done too!

New shoes

A month ago I was in Trollhättan to meet my friend Inger and a new prospective member for our coven. We had planned so that we would have some time to look around in shops before and in one of the shoe stores we found these on sale:




I fell in love instantly and since they had them in both her and my size and they were only 114 SEK (ca 16 $) I tried to convince her to buy a pair too. However, she was reluctant because of the height of the heels. And because, really, silver glitter shoes really isn't our thing. But they would be cool to wear as a fun thing when going out together. But I couldn't convince her and in the end I decided not to buy them.

But I couldn't stop thinking of them and the next day I asked her to go and buy a pair for me. And apparently she had also got weirdly attracted to them, so she bought a pair for herself too. Now we just need a party!
