Hat progress

The homemade buckram wasn't stiff enough to use just one layer, but I made more flour glue and pasted two layers together and now it looks very promising indeed:




I've just sewn the top and side together and now I'm going to start wiring the lower edge of the side. It's not good for my hands, but fun, so I keep doing it anyway.

Maja is still really ill and refuses to eat. Her ears ache a lot and she's very cranky.
