bippimalin came to see me I cut out a cotton dress after a pattern my mother bought in 1964 or -65. And now it's finished.

Both my bust and waist size is ten centimetres larger than the size on the pattern, but it turned out pretty easy to enlarge. The biggest challenge is to make the dress fit over the shoulders even if you have a much larger bust than what the pattern was made for. I'm not totally happy with the fit over sehoulders, but it's okay. I also could have made the whole bodice ca 5 cm smaller and it would still have fit, but the belt holds in the excess fabric nicely.
the fabric is a cotton print I got from my father's wife two years ago and I plan to wear the dress when we go to visit them on Saturday.
