My latest sewing project
Dec. 29th, 2007 09:37 pmApart from working on my new 16th century smock I've sewn a dress inspired by two dresses from the autumn/winter collection of american designer Phillip Lim. When I saw them I immediately was tempted: they're from grey wool and the combination of grey and white or grey and red was so appealing.
So I went to BorĂ¥s and got myself some thin 100% wool twill, just slightly fuzzy, and three days ago I started sewing. The trickiest part was putting in pockets; and finding time to sew.
