My latest sewing project

Apart from working on my new 16th century smock I've sewn a dress inspired by two dresses from the autumn/winter collection of american designer Phillip Lim. When I saw them I immediately was tempted: they're from grey wool and the combination of grey and white or grey and red was so appealing.
So I went to BorĂ¥s and got myself some thin 100% wool twill, just slightly fuzzy, and three days ago I started sewing. The trickiest part was putting in pockets; and finding time to sew.
The inspiration:

Without belt and with white blouse

With belt and a green top

I will not wear it with the white blouse. That may be my worst shopping mistake, I don't think I will ever wear it; it just isn't me.
But the dress I like. And I managed to put in neat pockets in the side seams, something I have only done once before and then it didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. In all I am very pleased, the pictures doesn't do the fabric justice, it just is divine.
And I apologize for the funny faces, I tried not to smile and ended up looking silly.
