Spending money like a drunken sailor

Or maybe not, but we can safely say this is not the month when I'm going to buy a doll, any more fabirc, OR repay some of the money I lent from our savings account for the Florence trip.

Because I just bought a flight ticket to Visby to spend a few days at the Medieval week!!! First time since 2010, and I'll be able to hang with helwig, liadethornegge and chargirlgenius, among others.

I'm not staying in the camp (obviously, it's abit hard to get a pavillion on the plane), but with my friend Renika, which will be really nice. I miss living in camp though, maybe I can persuade hubby and we'll go together next year. Maybe.

Working on the baronial awards

While we have awards in the barony of Gotvik (obviously, since I've given out a few) they haven't been registered yet. Previous baron/esses and board have worked on it, but some of the ideas aren't registerable. So today I dug into that, with the advice of Nordmark's herald Anna de Byxe. And, while we have to make some changes and I will go and check stuff in  "Deutsches Namenlexikon : Familien- und Vornamen nach Ursprung und Sinn erklärt" tomorrow, I am optimistic.
