Sock update
Nov. 5th, 2005 03:16 pmI have actually bought one of the stockings on my wish list:
These. I bought them from a swedish on-line shop that sells stockings, called SFQ and who had them in Plus size. My legs are rather sturdy so "one size" usually doesn't fit very well. With stay-ups and stockings you can of course always wear them lower on the thigh, but still, it's nice when they are long enough. And they fitted very nicely, maybe a little on the tight side, but nice. But I wouldn't have been so happy with "one size". I have bought another pair of stocking from the same manufacturer, Leg Avenue, and they were in one size and were comfortable, if a little too short. It's black stay-ups with red bows on top, I think they are very christmas-y.
The swedish company only has thin stockings and stay-ups, except for Levante's wool stockings which I also ordered. They're nice, but rather thin compared to the beautiful M40s and M43s at Sock Dreams. I hope I get some of those for my birthday.
