The confessions of a sock maniac

First: Gudrun Sjödén has the coolest shoes right now. They have lovely curved heels and come in burgundy, soft light teal, soft lilac and a lovely chocolate brown. I think they look just right for me, but I tried them on and they were very hard and uncomfortable in the sole. Maybe if one added an extra sole. I really shouldn't wear shoes without my specially made soles anyway, but they are so pretty and I want a pair of shoes with heels. I don't have any I can wear. But it's anyway too much ( a little over 100$) for shoes that I can't be sure to use a lot.
While we're at the feet department I must confess that I'm getting obsessed with socks/stockings. I visit Sock Dreams web site every day and only sheer willpower has stopped me from ordering any yet. Yesterday I was so near, but decided to go through my socks/stockings/tights drawer and see what fits, what has got holes etc. I threw away some tights with holes in them and put some that are too small/short but otherwise good in a bag for my sister since she's smaller than I am.

My depression is still there, but more in the background. I didn't read much yesterday, but today I will tackle Duby's The three orders. Feudal society imagined seriously. It is a really interesting book so it shouldn't be so hard.

Eeh, jag vet inte. Jag är stor tant nu och rätt mycket av det är förtantigt. Men det kanske händer något med ens smak när man passerar fyrtiostrecket :)

Eh, det händer att jag skriver saker som inte är offentliga, de tar vi oftast i telefon du och jag. Jag säger bara "Elbe".

I've drooled over those shoes too- and don't find them comfortable at all. That's happened before, they never seem to fit my feet.

I have a bad heel, and HAVE to have heels on my shoes, which have been somewhat of a trial, the shoes fashion have been far too pointy toes and narrow heels for comfortable walking. I've found that dancing shoes are wonderfully comfortable, even with heels, and the shape is quite similar to Sjöden's. The ned to be re-soled though. But I still paid half of what Sjöden takes, though they are of a more boring black.
