A beautiful morning

frualeydisI'm sitting at work watching the sun rise. The sky is light pink, mint green and aqua and there is some snow left on the ground from monday's snowfall, maybe in inch or so. I love winter dawns with their pastel colours and special light created by the snow.
It is good that it's a nice dawn because I'm beginning to feel rather depressed. It has been brewing for months and I feel it coming closer to the surface now. It is probably the press from trying to finish my dissertation, but I can feel it getting a hold on me and that will not make it easier to write. I hope Daniel comes to work soon because I don't feel well alone right now. And I hope that my sock dreams order comes today, because I think pink fluff around my legs will make me feel better.
