I'm getting weird in my old age

It's close to midnight and I have a cold and I am tired. But do you know what I want to do? I want to go to the university and put in 3-4 hours work. I know I can't because I need to function tomorrow too, but I would like to.

I know. It's the list of references. I started on it yesterday and I would love to have it finished before monday. I got feedback on the summary and need to change a lot and if I'm going to be on schedule I probably need all the time next week for that. I so hope he likes the revised version of the introductory chapter.

I thought parents with small children weren't supposed to be like that. They are supposed to fall into a coma as soon as the children have gone to bed (at eight, or so). There must be something seriously wrong with you.

My children seldom go to bed before half past ten on a friday.
But I didn't work. We did the other thing you're not supposed to have time to do when you have small children ;)
