Fortunately. I'm just sick of winter. It's below zero (32f) again and the snow that started to melt on thursday and friday is now rock solid ice. They say it may be a couple of degrees above zero on thursday, but I won't believe it until I see it.
Rewriting chapters is boring as it is, but if there would only be some signs of it getting warmer I would at least be happier because of that.

I'm with you there. We actually have three degrees above zero today, but we *should* have lots of spring flowers here by now. Snödroppar, vintergäck, krokus, scilla... (Sorry, I don't know their English names).

So, what happened to bloody global warming, eh? ;)

I'm guessing snowdrops and crocuses for the first and third on your list. The others? No idea.

and

No, those are not the ones I mean. Buttercups are the same as smörblomma, not vintergäck. The one at the top is what we call pärlhyacint, I think. Snowdrops and croci are self-evident names, but vintergäck is called Winter Aconite (Eranthis hyemalis) and looks like this:

Scilla is a name commonly (and somewhat incorrectly) used for several blue early spring flowers. The one I meant is properly called liten vårstjärna, in English Lesser Glory-of-the-snow (Chionodoxa sardensis or Scilla sardensis) and looks like this:

Nix, inte idag. Snön krymper, men smälter inte om du förstår. Den krymper genom avdunstning av solen, men det är så lite.
