Lagging behind but catching up

I have now, finally, seen Legally blonde. It was aired on the state television today. And I loved it.
I have also finished the murrey surcoat. It needs pressing and to loose the cat hairs that cover most of it.

*squee* Isn't it fabulous? It's too bad our local courts are super-conservative - I'm dying to make a bright pink tailored suit for court appearances. ;)

Well, you can-- but the judge won't take you seriously.

One of my attorneys recently made an appearance in a fabulous black suit, with hot pink pinstripes and a matching hot pink silk blouse. She's also 5'10 and maybe 120 lbs. Very svelte.

I asked her if she was pushing the Stuffy Attorney Suit boundary, and she just grinned.

Yeah - and since it's not *my* practice and reputation on the line, I'll be sticking with the ultra-conservative navy blue/black suits. :)
