Just so that you know:
I want to knit this. In those colours, with the ruffle. I will make the body longer and the sleeves slightly shorter but that's it. And I don't care if the people at You Knit What? thinks nobody over 25 and 100lbs should wear it. I just say: Watch me!
Someone even said in the comments that those colours never should be worn together, I think they're glorious together.

That is gorgeous. And the colours are stunning. I'm not a fan of the ruffle, but I get the impression you tend to be more frilly and girly than me, so you go for it.

I've got the impression that the people at You Knit What don't think you should ever *be* older or larger than that - or if you are, you should be ashamed of yourself and never be in photos. Sometimes they're funny, but a lot of the time, their criticism boils down to "Only older women would wear this." or "This isn't slimming." They post too much stuff that isn't outrageous, only a little weird. Or in this case, not even that.
I think that would suit you very well. Does Elann deliver to Europe? Or would you substitute the yarn?

I didn't think the sweater was bad either. The ruffle wouldn't suit me, but the rest of it was fine. And the ruffle would probably suit you. :)
