A re-vamped kirtle

All the new lacing holes are finished and this is how the kirtle looks now, with just a smock under it:

It's a little too tight to be comfortable in the waist now, I had to trim off some there too because of the lacing holes, but I don't have to lace it completely shut there like I have in these pictures. And I could always loose weight of course ;)

It's gored and around 4,5 metres wide. The front pieces aren't gathered but there are a couple of pleats in the back.

This _is_ one of my best colours. And that's a reason why I decided to do that extra work. I think I look really good in this. In a sort of fantasy-esque way.
