I'm tired and have a cold and don't want to go to work today. At twelve I'm going to be interviewed by the swedish-speaking finnish radio however. So I need to be there. So I guess I should just get my ass away from the computer, find my wrist braces and get going. At least the sun is shining.

The perception of body and gender in the Middle Ages. My dissertation which is about clothing in Sweden and Norway in the Middle Ages also adresses gender, beauty and clothing so I guess that's why they are going to interview me.

Yes, it was a really nice morning. I got up early for once, since I intend to quit work in time to buy drugs fabric afterwards. Must be done with the tailcoat this weekend, and preferably most of it should be done tonight.

She called two minutes after our scheduled appointment to say that she wanted to cancel, since she already had enough material. My friend and colleague Adam, who sits in the same room as I do, said that that's typical for journalists, only thinking in terms of quantity and not that she might get different type of information from the different people. Since the other person she interviewed wrote her dissertation about sexual abuse and abortion between 1965 and 1975, I can only agree.
