I have now made and attached the supportive, boned undersleeves for the re-worked sleeves on the Anthonis Mor dress. I'm using the pattern from The tudor tailor. I like having a pattern. It's not that I couldn't have figured it out myself, by looking in PoF etc, but it would have meant a lot of work and too much trial and error for my taste. Although I sew pretty good I am primarily a historian and researcher, not a sempstress so I appreciate all the help I can get from books.
I feel a little better, no doubt thanks to paracetamol, and I'm going to go to bed now.
