It's raining again and it's around 40-45 F. Typical weather for November, but not for April. The dampness makes all my joints hurt and the grey weather in general makes my mood drop.
So I'm warming myself by looking at pictures from last year's Visby medieval week, and from the year before. I long to be there so much.I've been asked to give a lecture this year too which means that we will go. If we find someone to share a car with at least (hint, hint [livejournal.com profile] armillary!:) )

Oh, I love Visby too! Unfortunately I have been able to visit there just once, I think it was medieval week 2003. But this year I hope to make it, and I am so happy Nordrike decided to organize a camp after all.

It wouldn't have been a disaster anyway, since Nordmark probably would have let us stay with them.
Glad to "meet" you BTW, did we meet back in 2003?

I believe we didn't. I was so yuong and scared of new people at the time that I mainly just hung out with my Finnish friends. But I looked at your pictures from the camp and I thik I remember where your tents were and so on. And I remember Kettil (a viking with a long blond hair), but he was about the only Swede I spoke with in whole week. This summer I intend to get to know little better to people from Nordrike :D

You might remember that one guy from our group built a trebuchet in front of our tents.
