Feeling frivolous

frualeydisToday I feel a bit frivolous, since I ordered "Age of Chivalry. The art of the Plantagenets 1200-1400" from a used book store in Copenhagen. It will cost me over 110$ including freight, but I actually think it's worth it. It's a catalouge from an exhibition in the 80s or 90s and it is a truly wonderful book with lots of pictures I've never seen anywhere else. Like this image, which I think is from the Taymouth hours. I made a dress like that, but I currently don't fit into it so it will not enter the Costume gallery until this summer.
