I just won these shoes at the swedish auction site Tradera. I got them for 21 sek, but will shipping it will be more like 60 sek, that is c. 7 $. Not too bad. I hope they will look good enough to be used with 17th and 18th century clothing, if I ever get around to actually making some.

I was planning to cheat the other way; I don't have any shoes to my folk costume yet. They're very expensive.

In Norway you can buy cheap "bunadsko" shoes in any shoestore. The start at 199kr, but that's fake leather, and from 299 you can get them in real leather. Its part of the huge norwegian bunad culture.

Hmm. To-do-list, next time I'm in Norway: Get shoes.
