Random GOOD things today

Since my last post was about the less-than-glorious prospects one has with psoriatic arthritis I thought I would end the day on a happier note.
1. The windows on one side of the apartment were changed today. The old ones haven't bothered me, but apparently all the windows on the south side had to be changed. This was done, and this is the good part, but two very nice looking young men and took almost eight hours, of which I was home six. One of them was twenty-ish and just cute, but the other one was around thirty and more than cute, I would say really hot. Lovely muscles, nice tattoos and a wicked smile. It was all in the smile of course. Both of them were really nice too.
2. Since reading through your own texts is _very_ boring I took several breaks while checking the summary and thus managed to cut the linings for the murrey surcoat with sleeves and the murrey cloak. The lining is blouse-weight white silk and damn slippery so I feel very good about finally having done it. I plan to sew a lot on the surcoat on may way home from Stockholm on monday.
3. I also cut a nice little slip dress from antique (1940s) pink silk crepe that I bought a few weeks ago. I have zig-zagged the edges and will cut the facing after I've left LJ :)
4. Maja's thicker wool tunic is finished. I finally forced her to try it on so I cut finish the sleeves and neck opening. It's from a lovely dark red wool that I got from
armillary and is of course sewn all by hand.
5. My kids are the cutest and nicest.
6. Valeria has learned to knit
