So, I sew the sleeves for the murrey surcoat, I sew the linings, I put them together and discover two things:
1. One of the sleeve linings is 8 cm shorter than the other and also than the actual sleeves. It is also ca 6 cm wider.
2. The sleeves are too narrow for my liking, It is doubtful if I could get the sleeves of the tunic under them. This is only reasonable, since they turned out to be 8 cm narrower than the actual sleeve hole. I know for certain I wasn't drinking when I cut the sleeves, but sometimes you really wonder.
I don't have enough fabric to make new sleeves, but I can add a strip of fabric to the existing sleeves; pieceing is period I hear ;)
At least I have enough of the lining fabric to cut new linings.
