frualeydisAfter a frustrated afternoon I actually managed to make a pattern that fit her foot. It's a little loose around the ankle, and maybe a little big in the foot. But all the other attempts were to narrow in the foot so I'm very happy. And she'll grow into them in no time.
It's late and we're going to bed now, but tomorrow I will cut two pairs of linen and two pairs of wool to bring with me to sew on when not giving lectures. I'm also bringing Perry Anderson's Lineages of the absolutist state, which I have to read for an exam in the end of August.
The train, which leaves at ten, will take over four hours so I will have plenty of time for both; and to look over my notes for the first lecture. Once in Vadstena I have about an hour until the lecture starts. I will stay over there and give another lecture on friday and then I will ride back home with the sweet Lady Tyra in her car.
